2020年は、祖父　今村 泰栄が山梨県甲府市上今井町（山城）に「今村歯科医院」を開業してから100年になります。その後、父　今村 辰郎が甲府市湯田に独立開業し、そして丸の内に「今村臨床歯科研究所」を移転開業しました。そして長男で私の兄である今村 靖が継承しています。長女である私　今村 美穂が2003年2月1日に中巨摩郡昭和町に「miho矯正歯科クリニック」を独立開業し、2009年に祖父の開業していた上今井町の地に、「M.I.H.O.矯正歯科クリニック」（Motivation,International,Health Organization）を移転開業しました。弟で次男　今村 哲士も南アルプス市に「アートタウン歯科クリニック」を開業し、兄弟3人が山梨の地で歯科医業に携わっています。またいとこである津金 新、原田 浩一郎も今村臨床歯科研究所に長年勤務し、それぞれ大阪府豊中市に「津金歯科医院」、甲府市里吉に「原田歯科クリニック」を開業しています。

私も60歳の還暦を迎えます記念すべき2020年に、100周年を迎えることは大きな喜びであり、今後の歯科医療の発展に微力ながら貢献していきたいと2019年に「一般財団法人　今村美穂財団」を設立いたしました。

100年にわたる歯科医療の発展を今村歯科の一員として幼少のころから見聞きして現在まで歯科界における変遷を見てまいりました。時代の大きな近代への流れとその変化とともに、日本の歯科も大きく変貌し、益々歯科に対する多様な社会的要求が増加し、それに対する独自な進歩が望まれていると思います。当クリニックの医療理念のように研鑽、進歩、発展、そして貢献していきたいと思います。 医学博士 PhD 今村　美穂 　2019年12月28日

2020 will be 100 years since my grandfather, DR.Yasuei Imamura, opened Imamura Dental Clinic in Kamiimai-cho (Yamashiro), Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. After that, my father, Dr.Tatsuro Imamura,PhD opened his own business in Yuda, Kofu City, and moved to the Imamura Clinical Dental Research Institute in Marunouchi. And my older brother and his eldest son, Dr.Yasushi Imamura,PhD have inherited it. His eldest daughter, Dr.Miho Imamura,PhD opened the Miho Orthodontic Clinic independently on February 1, 2003 in Showa-cho, Naka-Koma-gun, and in 2009, at my grandfather opened place "M.I.H.O. Orthodontic Clinic" (Motivation, International, Health Organization) has been relocated and opened.My younger brother, his second son, Dr.Tetsuji Imamura,DDS also opened an Art Town Dental Clinic in Chuo City, and his three children are involved in the dental business in Yamanashi. My cousins, Dr.Arata Tsugane and Dr.Koichiro Harada, have also worked for many years at the Imamura Clinical Dental Research Institute, and have opened "Tsugane Dental Clinic" in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture, and "Harada Dental Clinic" in Satoyoshi, Kofu City.

I am also celebrating my 60th birthday in 2020, and it is a great pleasure to celebrate our 100th anniversary, and we established the Imamura Miho Foundation in 2019 to contribute to the development of dental care in the future.

I have seen and heard the development of dental care over 100 years as a member of Imamura Dental since childhood, and I have seen the changes in the dental world to date, but as well as the great trend of the times and the change, Japanese dentistry has changed greatly, and more and more I think that the diverse social demands for dentistry are increasing, and that unique progress is desired. I would like to improve, advance, develop, and contribute to the medical & dental philosophy of our clinic.
